Fennel (Foeniculum vulgare)

The culinary fennel is also native to this region. This is one that has naturalized throughout the US, especially in Bronze form and is considered invasive in some areas. Bees and other pollinators as well as a wide variety of beneficial insects love the flowers. (c) Kathleen V Salisbury
